The Impala Lowrider is an ultra stable rack designed to carry heavy loads on gravel, paved roads, and wide trails where navigating through large rocks and tight bushes is not a concern. The extended side frames with extra low pannier rails carry the weight of panniers on the wheel center instead of 6” above it like a standard rack, such as the Divide. This dramatically lowers the bike’s center of gravity and provides ultra stable handling. ___ Old Man Mountain racks are the most versatile racks available. Capable of mounting to full-suspension mountain bikes, gravel bikes, road bikes, even tri-bikes if that's what you're in to. Want to use our rack on a bike that isn't made for racks? Want to swap your rack between multiple bikes? A Fit Kit is all you need.

Sunshine or rain, your gear will stay dry and protected in this 100% waterproof TPU fabric trunk with welded seams and Hypalon reinforcements. *Please note the side pocket is highly water resistant but is not a waterproof zipper. We've secured the Trunk to your rack deck with four cam lock strapped buckles to keep it steady and secure. Our branding is super subtle so you can focus on your adventure and not our logos - just a small tag by the velcro patch. Patches sold separately.

Out of stockA titanium Manything Cage made by Ron at King Cage is an object of beauty. So elegant and simple that you may choose to place it on a mantle to admire rather than mount it on your rack. We encourage you to resist this urge and instead mount it up to your Elkhorn rack. It is the perfect tool for carrying dry bags or large bottles like Nalgenes on the legs of your Elkhorn rack. Each cage comes with two 20" Olive Voile straps that have Old Man Mountain printed on them. If you're not familiar with King Cage, here's a little background: Ron founded King Cage in 1991 and has been bending and welding cages in his Durango, Colorado basement ever since. Before starting King Cage, Ron was a staple of the early mountain bike industry, working at Ibis, Merlin Metalworks, Jo Breeze Cycles, Ted Wojac Cycles, and Yeti.
